WELCOME TO

Sarina Palms Caravan Village

We offer you a warm invitation to come and relax at Sarina Palms Caravan Village amongst the shady palm trees in our quiet pet friendly tropical oasis just 400 metres from the Bruce Highway in Sarina.

Recently awarded Mackay Tourism’s 2019 Caravan Park of the Year as well as the 2019 Tidy Park Award by Caravan Parks Association of Queensland, we offer a relaxed stay in beautiful surroundings.

Enjoy the luxury of our Air-Conditioned Self-Contained Villas and Cabins or pull up to our Powered Sites with well-kept lawns and concrete slabs.

You can join us for morning tea. Go along to Happy hour at the Meeting Place and meet like-minded travelers in the Covered Barbecue Area.

Make Sarina Palms Caravan Village your home while you explore the wonderful local attractions around Sarina, the heart of sugar cane country, and home to the Plane Creek Sugar Mill and the second largest ethanol plant in Australia. Instead of staying in a motel, enjoy a little more space and beautiful surroundings.

We have a great relaxed lifestyle and it is all within your reach.

Nearby are Hay Point – Australia’s largest coal port and one of the largest in the world, and Eungella National Park – Australia’s largest Rain Forest and home of the elusive Platypus.

We are close to town with the public swimming pool directly across the road, clubs and restaurants nearby, if you fancy a quick dip, game of bowls or a romantic evening out.

The lovely Armstrong, Sarina, Grasstree and Campwin beaches are all within easy reach.

For the fishing enthusiasts there are boat ramps providing easy access to the excellent local fishing and crabbing.

Golf courses, tennis courts, lawn bowls, clubs, medical centre, restaurants, hotel, takeaway and convenience stores are on your doorstep.

The busy provincial town of Mackay is just 30 minutes drive north from the Sarina Palms Caravan Village.

So whether you are looking for a spot of fishing, island hopping, swimming, bush walking, snorkelling, canoeing or just curling up with a good book under a shady palm tree, Sarina Palms Caravan Village is ready to welcome you.

Quite good caravan village, quirky statues around the place, bathrooms were clean but powered sites packed in like sardines with people having to walk through your site to access amenities. Fine for a single night stay, not ideal for multiple.

Nice and clean and tidy with nice amenities. Comfortable and clean. Recommend. The password for the wifi didn’t work, the info booklet referred to something in 2012(!) , there was no bedside lamp and the pillow was very high. First world problems right there!

What an interesting place. It was spotless. Amenities and park was spotlessly clean. Only downfall was the stench from the sugar mill boiling the rubbish sugar cane for electricity. Apparently they save 40% on electricity bill. It smells like dog poo but thankfully was late arvo into the night so we locked up our van and used the aircon to get away from it 😆.

Very clean & tidy, dog friendly, reasonably priced, quirky animal statues around the grounds. No fence around the park. One neighbour giving all new travellers the spiel about ensuring you lock all of your things away due to thieves, (That is not comforting). So far no issue's with theft. You can hear the trains & the mill during the night apparently, I wear earplugs (husband snores) so no issue for me. We are staying two nights & managed to see quite a few sights in surrounding areas including Mackay. I would definitely come back again.
